ABOUT JYRA'S ANGELS INC.
Founder's Welcome,
As the Founder and President of Jyra’s Angles Inc., a residential foster care facility, I would like to say welcome. Jyra’s Angels Inc is a vision I had back in 2008. The mission is to provide an environment that fosters a homelike feel with a sense of normalcy in a sometimes hectic life some youth encounter in foster care. We educate our youth with goal-setting skills and provide opportunities to successfully reach their goals. Our areas of focus are Character Building, Life Skills, Money Management, Dress for Success, Mentoring, Health & Nutrition, and most importantly the value of an education.
As for my educational background, I am an alumna of Livingstone College ’04 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Computer Information Systems, with a concentration in Business Administration. As an alumna of the Art Institute of Charlotte ’06, I graduated with a certification in Interactive Media Design. Lastly, I am an alumna of Strayer University ’11 with a Masters in Business Administration with a concentration in Management.
Jyra’s Angels Inc was incorporated on November 30, 2009 and became a 501c3 in 2013. We are also CARF Internationally Accredited organization since 2018. In 2019, we became members of the Cabarrus Chamber of Commerce. We are always looking for opportunities to grow and advance. As always thank you for your time and support.

We also tour colleges and encourage each youth to attend a college in the future. We surround the youth with positive social and community events along with helping out with community service events. We want to make sure that they understand that they also need to give back. We also believe that if you can change your mind, you can change your life. We want the youth to know that it’s not where you come from that determines your future, but what you do. Once they leave our care we want them to know that they are family and can come back to us for guidance and we will help them as much as possible.
It is our hope that through our services, participants can regain the inner strength and independence required to re-enter their families, communities, or society as whole, healthy, thriving individuals.
